Yes, welcome. I hope you find some companionship and help figuring things out while you're here.

I do strange things and use to cover them up or pretend I meant to do them to avoid the embarrassment. But then I learned that people enjoy me and my oddities. One of my stepsons just admitted last week that he wished I'd told him how "endearing" I was as he just thought I was strange at first. And let me tell you, he's a pot calling the kettle black!

Now I'm much better at only paying much attention to those I know and know care about me and not minding so much if others find me odd at first. I guess some of the things I say or do are disconcerting if one doesn't know me yet? But I know me and know others who love me so I muddle through with the "strangers" until they're friends :-)
