I do a lot of the same things. I post a question sometimes on PC and take what I learned and write them in my blog. BUT I don't steal the answers I get from people, word for word no less, it is mostly for inspiration in which I form my OWN opinion on said topic.

But it was already mentioned that PC is mostly used for inspiration, so I won't dwell on that, just wanted to add my two cents.

I feel bad for Moxie, who now feels afraid to post on PC. This breaks my heart, because not only is PC one of the best resources and outlets for discussing mental health, and it really is SO helpful for anyone who is struggling. I urge you to post, but as scarlett said, refrain from any personal information that would tie you to the post.

Since someone mentioned Google and search engines, I had a VERY eye-opening experience with the way personal information is handled. I have a handle, (username), that I used to use with EVERTHING, as a matter of fact it was the username I used with my very first email address, the email address that I still use for mostly everything today. Since I pay my residential phone/cable/internet bill with this email address, it somehow got leaked to one of those "People Finder" websites, which I have to say are popping up all over the place.

Anyway, long story short, somehow, that username I always use got leaked, and now when you google it, ALL MY PERSONAL information: address, real full name, telephone number is all over the search results. It's like if someone googled my PC username: "LadyShadow" and my whole life ended up in the search results, including those posts from PC. Google your favorite username sometime, you will see what I am talking about.

It was such a shock to my system, and I had to abandon my favorite username that I had for years, because I fear that if I use it on another site or forum and some real troll googles it, my whole life will be in front of their eyes, and my whereabouts of where they can find me.

It's the way of the world now, and the way of the internet, and honestly nothing is safe or sacred anymore.
