Their trust in others has gotten them punished when you were all surrounded by bad people. There are some people who are not safe, it's very true. But there really are people who are safe. If you (collectively) trust others just a little at a time, and get to know their personalities, and be smart about it, you can stay safe and still have love and trust. You don't have to shut the whole world out to stay safe. You only have to protect from those who mean you harm- that truly is not everyone.

Marie, I know life has been hard for you all. And I do not blame you ONE BIT for being worried about trusting people. I think all of us that have been hurt have that struggle sometimes. You (collectively) have been hurt very, very much.

I hope in time you will learn to trust just a little tiny bit at a time until you are sure it is safe.
