In 2014 I had T on my birthday. I brought her a piece of cake. Felt it was sort of the polite thing to do.
She seemed pleasantly surprised.
By the way, if you do that, don't forget to make her able to eat it by providing a fork. (I didn't forget it because I was obsessed about not forgetting it)
