I dreamed the Obama family came to stay with us at a cousin's house. In the dream they were extended family somehow. They were being friendly and gracious in a low key way. I was trying to be similarly chill, and unobtrusive, but when the topic of building kid's tree-houses came up I became very opinionated about it, sounding kind of like a know-it-all... and then I became embarrassed and felt I'd revealed myself to be kind of low class, and suddenly I saw my kids and myself in a shameful, impoverished, post-divorce, single mom, fallen-from-grace kind of way.

Guess it reveals I have some pretty shallow insecurities. :/
