I'm having chest pain, too. Don't know if it's similar to yours or not. Doctors checked my lungs for signs of a pulmonary embolism, but turned out ok (thank heaven). They said it was an inflamation in my rib cage causing them to press on my lungs. Gave me some anti-inflamatories. My pain went away for a couple weeks but it's back now. I think they were wrong about it, because it's very very deep inside, and even goes into my back a little. I'm going to get another appt.

Where in your chest is your pain? Does it get worse when you breathe in and out?
