@confused77 Although it wouldn't be the end of the world to not get paid, you have to remember that you're not the only client. No-shows and cancellations add up - especially during certain times of the year (holidays, flu season, etc.). A T who sees 20 - 25 clients per week, which is a pretty standard number for private practice, loses 4-5% of their weekly income for each client who doesn't see them as scheduled. I don't think it's greedy for therapists to do what they can to ensure a steady income.
