The NJ website says it takes 3-4 weeks to process the request, then tack on another week for shipping, then I have to get an SS card cause I'm pretty sure you need your BC to get that, since I couldn't just order it online, then I have to go to the DMV to get a REAL ID and backasswards NC takes 1-2 weeks to mail you your license. It won't be a short process or cheap one. I might as well get my passport updated. Would take less time than that, but I'm not sure if I need my BC since it's expired or just my marriage certificate showing the name change. Anyways, it's not like I can afford a plane ticket right now anyways, so bus it is. I can get up there and back on a bus for $171, plane it's $300+. At least by taking a bus I can take my own food, which I can't do on a plane. I also have to factor in taking the dogs to the kennel ($40 a day) and getting a hotel while up there. I've got a whole $100 to my name till the end of the month because of having to pay bills and getting meds, so maybe I'll be able to buy bus tickets next month. Apparently greyhound busses now have wifi and power plugs by your seats. So that's neat. I'll have stuff to do for the 17 hrs I'm on the bus.
