Way back in the 1970's when I was getting my degree, I got my AA in music & had enoygh Spanish I could have double majored.
Then I transferred to a 4 year school for my BS. I got a wonderful flute teacher who had studied under Rampal, practiced 8 hours a day & realized listenibg to the other flute majors that I would never make it as a music major. I actually changed majors as a Junior to something totally unrelated & it took me several extra years but totally worth it. I ended uo graduating with my BS in Accounting Information systems 2ith a Computer Science minor. I ended up with a career as a computer design engineer in the aerospace industry (at that time it was great but aerospace crashed. I pribably wiuld have been better off staying in the business end but it was an interesting 15 year career.
I actually liked accounting & coukd have gone in that direction too. It is good to have a major that leads to several possible paths to you have choices when you graduate.
The university had on camous interviews when graduating. I had 3 job offers ti chose from when I graduated. It's nice to have a major that has actual related possible directions to go in on graduating
