hi. not to scare you, but clozapine discontinuation has a -definite- set of problems associated with it. I guess because it was (is?) hailed as such a miracle pill, there's more data on tapering than on the other 'atypicals.' Anyway...

the "Experts" on psych drug tapering say to cut 10% per month, if your goal is to be drug free. I don't know the rules for cross tapers.

My best guess is that sedatives, antihistamines, etc. could help the tapering process. Are you planning to start a different tranquilizer? Some people swear by supplements. When my docotor -finally- reduced my Abilify dosage, I popped the Suntheanine like candy, and that helped with a sudden dosage reduction.
