It takes awhile to become known here, whether it should or not.
This is true for everyone.

Most people here are very kind and very supportive toward everyone.


You may have encountered otherwise; if so, it's rare, imho. If you've been offended, it's usually the same person(s) and you can put them on "ignore" if they are triggering to you. There are a couple I find very triggering (rude). We find a mix of types of people everywhere we go.

I'm encouraging you to stay, to join in, and to "protect yourself" by ignoring anyone troubling to you.

Sometimes, I am in a place where I need a break, too. So please realize many of us do take breaks from PC and during these times, we do not respond.
