All the little free things we used to get, such as ceramic figurines in a box of tea. Or the little toy you would get in a box of cereal.
Most homes had a large atlas and/or a globe. And all cars had a collection of fold out maps, and a coil bound map book of your area for street addresses.
When you ordered a cup of tea or coffee, you always got a saucer with the cup. And the minute you sat down the server poured ice cold glasses of water from a pitcher for everyone. Usually the cup and saucer was already on the table, you only needed to turn your cup over to indicate you'd like a coffee.
