I am so very sorry you feel it's (lack of response) is not rare.
In all honesty, I can only speak for myself on this topic. I know I give it my personal best. I assume others do, as well. Members here are often unwell and response rates vary a lot, including on my threads. (I have to bump up mine, too.) I also feel some topics/titles draw more interest than others.
