I've manage to get in 4905 steps so far today. I have been slack this month. I averaged 4200 or so per day in January but so far for February it is 3200 and change. Every 1000 steps adds about 40 calories to your daily burn and makes the calorie deficit a little bigger. Plus it just helps keep you in better shape. I need to start doing some upper body work also. 938 calories eaten so far today, 562 to go.

I am starting to have mixed feelings about the Quaker weight control oatmeal. It has more than double the protein of regular oatmeal, but it gets it from soy; eating it multiple times a day is not so great with my gut. I need to ask my doctor for a lab order to get another LDL reading and see if this is working.
