I loved smoking. I quit 20 years ago and feel I could easily start smoking again. Yes it was the hardest thing I did and used zyban which was the thing to use to try and quit smoking. I went from 105lbs to a 149lbs in less than a year. It took another year to get down to a 120lbs. I am glad I quit. I had started to feel like a lepor everytime I want to go smoke. All the new rules of where you could an could not smoke and the price. A pack of cigarettes where .55 cents when I started smoking at 13 yrs old.

When a child’s emotional needs are not met and a child is repeatedly hurt and abused, this deeply and profoundly affects the child’s development. Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.
