There are a number of posts that are well above my purview of "expertise". Relative to condition, I consider myself fortunate. I don't often reply because I don't believe my input would help, it might make matters worse, or it might sound superficial or contrived. I don't necessarily find the boards restrictive, but I do think that people who share the same condition often support each other because they can relate.

For example, I don't know what it is like to stay in bed all day. People post about this on occasion. I'm lucky - I can get up and get around. But every month or so, I put my fist through the wall. My primary BP symptom is violence. When I post my concerns, those that can relate will reply. But those that can't understand explosive anger will probably read it and move on.

Please don't be offended or get down about it. Perhaps your posts got lost in the shuffle, or perhaps the people who can relate just aren't around at the time. As many members have mentioned, the posts get shuffled down the line quickly. And some of the views might simply be from people who are curious about your post but can't really offer any feedback.

Stick around, we need balance!
