If you had been limiting your intake before this week of binging started, maybe that could be one of the reasons that caused it (?) It could be that your body is trying to tell you it needs more energy; especially if you've been more stressed than usual lately.
It doesn't sound like BED to me. I'm not a professional and I'm not 100% sure about the diagnosis criteria, but I think that for being diagnosed with BED, the binging behavior has to be taking place at least 3 times a week during at least 3 months straight.
It sounds like a lot of things have happened in the last few weeks, and it's normal to struggle in different areas of your life until you start getting used, and feeling more comfortable with the circumstances.
(Also, this is kind of random but I read another thread about your experience studyng abroad, and I only wanted to tell you that I think you're doing something very challenging and being brave for getting out of your comfort zone in such a big way.
