I'm the youngest of 8. But one of my sisters is rail thin and drinking herself to death. I just found out today.

She lives in Oregon but came here to go on a trip with an old love interest. He saw her, she was drunk and said I'm not taking you anywhere in your condition.

She called a friend and ended up staying in a hotel that night. The next day one of my other sisters went and picked her up. She's been staying there. She weighs 100 lbs and eats like a snack a day and just drinks the rest of the time.

So 2 of my sisters called an ambulance to see if they could get her hospitalized, and basically the hospital said she's a grown woman and if she stops abruptly drinking she will probably die. They recommended treatment where she can get a medical detox.

She's refusin and is mad at my sisters and still thinks she's fat.

I saw her on Christmas and she was very thin, but my sisters say no she's skin and bones.

She's going back to Oregon tomorrow. I'm worried, my whole family is that she won't live another month without help. I feel so powerless...
