hi. long term, some benzodiazepine treated people gain weight. i dont know if that's an appetite issue or if its just...long term sedative use (?).

in my own limited experience, benzodiazepines on a daily use basis made me lazy and i didnt exercise enough, didnt care as much about what i ate, etc., but it was nothing compared to what happened with 'atypical' tranquilizers and some antidepressants.
