Funny, I HAVE been diagnosed with schizophrenia...and depression...and BPD, at different times by different doctors of course.
I was actually a little angry at the depression and BPD diagnoses because I thought that meant they or a doctor who saw that would take me off medication that works and either put me on antidepressants (which make me manic) or leave me unmediated (which also makes me manic). I didn't mind the schizophrenia dx because I was already on clozapine, which if you google it says its for "treatment resistant schizophrenia."
Basically I dont care what you call it as long as the treatment works.
