I'm right there with you, possum. A few years ago when I was prescribed Seroquel I gained 100 lbs. Yep. And I gained it in less than a year. After some time I dropped the Seroquel way down, but instead of losing weight I just gained more. I am, by the way, a healthy eater. I do not eat junk food. Ever. The Seroquel just seems to screw with metabolism. Yesterday my pdoc told me I need to take 100mg. of Seroquel for awhile (I was on 50mg). I can see why she prescribed the higher dose, but I am really concerned about my weight and health.

So, while I'm not one who goes to the gym every day, I do eat quite carefully and get moderate exercise. I even tried riding a bike everywhere for 6 months (sold my car)...no weight loss at all. During that 6 months I did not gain weight, which was good. But I sure didn't lose any, either.
