I understand. My ex-husband took my kids from me several years ago when I went into treatment to get help to deal with my childhood. He did it while I was there and out of state where we lived. I missed the last several years that they were in High School and Junior High. It broke my heart.

I understand waking up and they are not there. That lost and lonely feeling. But, they will figure out the truth eventually and come around. She cannot keep them from you forever. Just keep doing the right thing and give them everything you can. They will know that you really love them and in the end will know the truth.

Know that you are not alone, and that we are here to support and listen when you feel low. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
