My folks starting around their 40's used to have their tackle boxes of meds that when younger asked what the pills were for and my mom's response was that they were her glue pills. Seemed silly at the time, how could a bunch of little pills hold you together (?) and now I cannot function without my own tackle box now in my 40's.
When I went to see the eye doctor because I was having to hold things out way out from away from me now, and I asked him why since I was near-sighted this was odd but that I did not want to hear because I was 'getting older' or because it was 'age' half heartedly; he said instead it was because I had now developed short arm disease.
