My general view of the very first step is to find time and a safe space - be it at home in a special room or a day a week at least in some form of nature. To be able to function requires rest and calm. We must center ourselves to the best of our abilities to take-on current and future challenges. Wisdom may come, yet emotions often hold the hammer down. The hammer can be anything we allow ourselves to react to - and when we have no true control of that "trigger", at least knowing why we might want to scream at someone or something way beyond OTT, is helpful in knowing why. I hope this made sense. This post is for everyone.
