Inflammation issues run rampant in my family and I believe I was born with systemic inflammation. All of my life I ache all over my body and tire very easily. Now, in mid-life I not only feel sore all over, but I have chronic pain that is disabling. I've always had to pee frequently, as if my body is in overload, or is hyper-sensitive. When I was younger I had terrible IBS. When I was young I was so thin and could not gain weight; now I cannot lose weight. My ANA has been high for 30 years. I'm sure my mental illness is connected to my inflammation. Doctors have been completely useless for me with regard to the way I physically feel.

The one and only thing I have ever found that does give me some relief for a while (besides lots of sleep and rest) is a drink that is made with honey (good, organic honey, not the fake-sugary kind), organic apple cider vinegar (Bragg's is excellent), and water. It is an old-fashioned tonic that I have used for many years. It helps me feel less "inflamed"...maybe because the drink soothes my digestive system.

The other thing that helps me feel less inflamed is Advil.

Thank you for introducing this important subject, Leia78.
