When you grow up emotionaly deprived.... it can feel like hell to be emotionally naked and get no emotional response back. Even just a look of ****ing empathy would go a long way...

You can talk about this with your T. It's very important.
My T was responding to me in a way that triggered stuff for me. Some of the things she said when I was in a triggered state were very similar to words a parent used with me. I found it really traumatizing.
I wasn't able to tell her that in the moment (in any of the moments) but I was later by email. Once she knew what it triggered and why she adapted her approach. It has been much better since then.
It's okay to talk with your T about this. Its probably important information for your T to know. Its hard when things like that block our paths.
