Hello vibgyor: I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit. May I suggest you introduce yourself over on PC's New Member Introductions forum? Here's a link:

I'm sorry you had this confusing... & embarrassing... experience. (I've had it too.) I'm an old man now. But I've had a life-long struggle with gender identity dysphoria. It can be incredibly confusing. So I'm not surprised that you are confused as to whether or not you are transgender. Really... the best way to figure this out, would be to spend some time working with a gender therapist if there was one available to you where you live. It can take time & work to get to the bottom of this kind of issue.

There is a gender therapist who uploads videos onto her YouTube channel. Her name is Dara Hoffman-Fox. Watching some of Dara's many videos might help you to get some idea of where you stand with regard to your gender identity. Here's a link to Dara's YouTube channel:

By the way, there are also quite a few YouTube videos on transgender people in India, in case you're interested. Here's a link to that YouTube listing:

You're also welcome to personal message me, here on PC, should you ever want to correspond more at length regarding this.

There's a lot of support that can be available here on PC. The more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are the chat rooms where you'll be able to interact with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) So please keep posting!
