Do you think you might also be experiencing some grief?
Do you see a psychiatrist and/or a therapist?
Is it time for a med adjustment?
Do you have people around you, willing to understand and support you?
Are you safe today?
Do you have interests/hobbies which might help to distract you from depressive thoughts?
I'd had a few years when I'd found I got away without treatment, but then the depression came back with a vengeance. I struggle with thoughts everyday, too. I try to distract myself with various activities/pastimes.
My H is around a lot and is very supportive, thankfully.
I hope you get some helpful replies.
My heart goes out to you.

I am on HRT with no menopause symptoms. I am seeing a therapist and will be seeing a psychiatrist. I just started medication again. I had support from others while I was preparing for the hysterectomy but when I got depressed it seemed like my support got smaller. I am safe today. I don't feel like doing much. I just go to work, appointments, and home.
