Hi beauflow
I do not typically rapid cycle so I cannot say to much here. However with the borderline, anxiety Ptsd ...all of those things lead to mood shifts and are more likely than bipolar to cause multiple shifts throughout the day. Many ppl keep a mood journal . Its probably a good idea to see what is triggering the shifts if you notice it happens at certain times or after certain events. Being mindful will make it easier to tell when you are going up or down. If you see a therapist he or she could probably help you with that as well.
BTW my brain is tired and a little slow right now, so if you answered all this stuff in your original post sorry!
This place is great for support and we are glad you joined us.

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning, I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
