Allautumn, I only joined yesterday so I don't know what you refer to but after reading your post here and then your Bio, I'll bet I'm pretty much on the same page. Having opinions on issues that differ from the norm is frustrating, I know. I'm letting you know you're not alone. In anther forum, I too expressed my unpopular opinion and later came to see how it rubbed people the wrong way and I hope I don't get myself into that position again. We still have the right to be ourselves. Rebound, your example of those "resistant to reason" is well taken and I agree completely.
