I take 600 mg tegretol and 150 mg Wellbutrin daily.Wellbutrin is great for my depressive side but I think it kicks me up into hypomania. They are saying take 75 mg instead when I am hypo, but even skipping days on it doesn’t seem to do it and besides I am mixed states, so I have to prevent crashing. Boy, I get a lot done in hypomania, but the racing thoughts are uncomfortable. I can’t take Xanax every day except in very stressful situations. I don’t want to take a lot of meds.I hear they sometimes prescribe 2 stabilizers.
What med combinations prevent hypomania for you?
