That must be so difficult to know that your daughter is in so much pain-- but amazing that she reached out like that. Have you spoken with her about it since? Maybe she would like you to ask her what she would like from you in order to help her. I remember when I first started cutting, my mother knew, but she basically chose to ignore and deny the entire thing. That really hurt. I would have liked for her to ask me how she could help. I hope things get better for you and your daughter.
