All things considered, I believe the marriage would be a wise decision. Personally, I am in favor of it.

Over the years of my life I have noticed that while most marriages start out (when the couple is young) based upon love and romance, after some years "pragmatic" becomes a reality - and in later years, a necessity. The love comes from depending upon and trusting each other over time. It sounds to me like there is love between you and your daughter's mother.
