I take walks as breaks during the day. The street in front of my office gets sun most of the day and has a sidewalk that I can take for over a mile before I get to the next major road I would have to cross and turn around. Some days, I work from home and walk around my neighborhood on breaks. Starting next week, there will be plenty of daylight after work. On bad weather days, sometimes I get a few steps in at stores or sometimes they are really low and have to be averaged out by better days.
I am treating walking as exercise right now; making time for it and not really having time for other exercise.
