My husband is an engineer and his group needed a way to get information on things in the mail without getting on sales people's mailing lists so they created an engineer named Chester Drawers. Everyone knew about it and he got mail, etc. but one day a salesman came to the company and asked was he in/available! So the poor receptionist who knew the joke had to page him over the intercom as if he was a real person. I don't know how she did that and then told the salesman he was "out to lunch" or something
