Well, I did not walk much today...AGAIN. I lack energy. I will make myself go as far as I can tomorrow. I have had 2200 calories, or at least I will have this. I still need to make a yogurt smoothie. I am having trouble getting the calories between 2000 and 2300 just using food. I guess I can purchase healthy snacks. Maybe this will help. I also am going to review my past daily menus, which I had posted here in the past, to see what I did to frequently hit over 2000 calories.
I am getting a genuine FitBit by 8 PM today. After ordering it, I found out that the way these wrist bands monitor heart rate will not produce accurate results, at least as accurate as I want it to be. The band slips, sweat gets in the way, it moves during exersize, and so forth. A much more accurate reading would be either using a chest monitor, or a band designed to rest up your arm. So I will be comparing the bpm from the FitBit band to that of an exersize machine. I then will see how much it is off. If this turns out to be like the imitation Chinese FitBits, I will send it back to Amazon, and still use my Chinese El Cheapo.
Update: The FitBit is actually working well. My phone determines bpm more accurately. My bracelet comes very close to matching the phone. Also the pedometer is close too. Every now and then the number of steps are a couple off. Nice! And the phone app is nice too. And it is compatible with the MFP app.
