I walked 12,474 steps. I weigh 182 pounds. I wonder how many calories that I burned up? After looking it up on the Internet, this comes to about 600 calories at 100 calories a mile. If I did my calculations right, my Fitbit appears to be off by about 5% which is very good. So this means my steps count can be off up to 625 steps. I do not remember what I had for breakfast. Probably the depression. I need to enter this information into MFP just after I have something to eat. I think one problem is that I sometimes skip a meal. Not good.
@UpDownAround You are approaching your diet intelligently and you are methodical about it. You are also helpful. I am happy to see you are getting closer to when all you need to do is maintain your weight. But then I find that this is not easy in my case.
PS I maintained about a 150 heart rate for significant parts of the walk. This is in the upper range for a cardio workout. My goal is to walk ten miles.
