I couldn't stand it anymore. My parents are not happy, but they never seem toe be happy about anything I do anyway. The reason I quit was after 16 years and one pay raise, the entire department was given a pretty substantial paycut because of things people other than me were doing. I do not think it was fair or right. There would be months I would be taking over $100 less than what I made before doing the same amount of work. It just wasn't worth that, plus all the extra stuff I got to deal with coworkers who obviously don't like me, nor do I like in return. I would almost rather make no money than be forced to take a massive paycut and work with people I hate with a passion. I have enough saved for quite a few months if I don't go out and buy anything on a whim. I am fixing to change over to programming to be my full time job anyway.
