DBT is just CBT with some meditation and social skills thrown in... so if that's what you're looking for,,, it's good. the meditation has been very good to me, i'm now an advanced meditator. i used the Holosync Therapeutic system from CenterPointe.com for 7 yrs and ended up "in remission" for bipolar, GAD, Compulsive/Obcessive Dis., Hair Pulling, and i gained about 20 points on the IQ scale........ so i'm always glad to recommend Holosync. you can try it out online on Utube, the various 'tones' or 'beats' change your brainwaves (but the therapeutic system from CenterPointe actually helps the brain to heal and regain control and linkages).
again, the results from any program are heavily dependent on how much energy you put in. i was meditating 2 hrs a day, 2 times a day, for over a yr, maybe 2, to get those results,,, so don't think that half an hour several times a week will get you there.
