Honestly, DBT is a skill building model and the skills learned can help with life in general. No it won't help clear your depression,etc., but learning distress tolerance a nd other modules will help you weather the storms so to speak. It was originally designed for people with BPD, by Marsha Linehan, but has proven useful for other diagnosis.
