{{{kaimarni}}} Hope you feel better.
It's called "disappointment". My T gave me homework to spend a week between sessions looking at that word, right after she'd given me "humiliation"! I got humiliated during the humiliation week so when she said to look at disappointment, I immediately asked, "Does this mean I have to spend all week being disappointed?!" We both laughed but also neither of us had quite thought of it that way so were both startled. I did get disappointed since I was looking for it, a couple times by my husband. But I learned soooooo much because of it!
Where does the thought/feeling that we can expect our T's to be there every week come from? We think in terms of whether we'll go to therapy this week or not, etc. but how about T's? They usually always show up and we expect them to. Where does that expectation come from? Is it only a hope or do we see it as a "right" (because we pay them to) or what?
