I think the concept of "stopping" makes it sound too difficult and too permanent. Thinking about stopping forever has always made me feel anxious, which then makes me want to cut. Maybe reframing the idea would help. I can't think that I've "stopped," though it's been months since I last cut. I've just made a deal myself that I can cut when I really "need" it. It at least makes me think about it for a minute rather than just reacting. Also having my razor out of my immediate reach - in a downstairs closet vs in my bedroom, helps, but maybe I'm just lazy. Whatever works. Good luck.
