I don't know which would be easier for me, typing or writing in a notebook. My only issue with writing is having a hard time reading my own handwriting because of my vision. But for certain things I will probably have to write in a notebook since the only keyboard I have that I can write in German is my phone keyboard. Maybe I'll retain something easier if I'm physically writing it out rather than typing, kind of like with memorizing music, playing it helps to memorize it. I don't know just thinking here.
