I don't know that there's anything wrong with unbiased, though I agree that it's not a well-written sentence. Though I'd much prefer that sentence to any of the 50 paragraphs I graded this weekend. These students are in my classes for a reason, but that fact never makes the endeavor any more enjoyable.
