I now weigh 176. EEE GADS. From now on, I will add in my exersize calories into the picture. I may cut down on the distance I have been walking from six miles to four miles. I need to walk every other day so I can move part of the calorie deficit due to walking into the next day. So I will have two days to eat enough to make up the calories spent through my walking on one day.
@UpDownAround: It has been my experience that a tight wristband is not required to get good heart rate readings. All I use is a reasonably snug fit which is per instructions that came with my activity band. As an aside, the cheap Chinese knockoff bands that I have tried from Amazon still registered heart beats even when entirely taken off my wrist. Amazing. There is Voodoo at foot here.

So I threw those away. I have ended up with one made by Garmin. I like it better than the FitBit at significantly less cost.
