My manger denied he and my coworkers were talking about me that day and that I misheard. The manager I talked to said she believes him. I mean, I didn’t get accused of anything but mishearing, but now it just looks like I’m being a jerk who is starting stuff and trying to get people into trouble.

The thing is, I’m not totally sure I misheard.

It’s best just to lay low for awhile.
