Hi all. I'm a bit concerned what's going on. I know I've been dealing with my Bipolar II. Well the thing is I've been taking Depekote Volponic acid for 7 weeks so far. Symptoms seem to be getting worse. Like I feel like I've been forgetting stuff lately which isn't normal for me. I never had that issue before my doctor dosed the medicine to two twice a day 250mg. I just found out that I got cognitive impairment disorder when I logged into to check my medical file on mychart. Can certain medications like depekote make you have memory loss and mess with your head? I know that depekote can cause memory loss so I don't know if I should bring it up or not. I haven't been sleeping well either. So I just wanted to know if I should bring it up to my doc because I don't know if it's bipolar related or not. Has anyone else gad issues with memory In bipolar or are the meds just messing with me? I know some side effects can be long term. I usually have a really good memory. Sorry guys I just feel like blah. The memory thing just started up just now so I'm a bit worried. So I don't know if it's part of anxiety, etc.
