For me I think there is no point having even trying to have an intimate relationship with someone else if I can't even stand to be with myself yet.
Because there is just no possible way for it to work. It will only end in hurt.
But that's me. I was with my ex out of necessity at the time (young and pregnant) but it was doomed before it started.
