It sounds like you are being too hard on yourself. Any job takes time to learn, this is why most "probation" periods are 6 months. Be proud of yourself that you are trying something new and challenging yourself.
Give it more time. Everyone is not at their best when they are first starting. It took me over a year to get the hang of my job and now I am considered the master.
