((((Fuzzybear))))
It's worth bothering because it can get better. I self injured from childhood well into my 30's. I finally stumbled onto a wonderful on-line self-help community that helped me to stop. I've now been SI free for more than 7 years.
I still have bad days. I still have days where I want to SI. But now I get through them.
It's worth it, because I no longer deal with the shame, and regret, and self-hatred that went along with the SI.
I know I am worth more than that, and don't deserve to hurt myself. You too are worth more than SI and don't deserve to hurt yourself. You're a huge support to many people here. That tells me you're a good person.
